Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

MTBW Services prides itself on using industry best practices and standards when involved in projects or break/fix situations. The methodical and meticulous Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) provides a structure to efficiently address client issues. An outline of the phases within this procedure illustrates the value of the SDLC approach:

  1. Investigation
    What is the problem?
  2. Analysis
Determine the expectations of the new system and how it will operate with the existing infrastructure.
  3. Logical Design
The “blueprint” for the desired solution is created based on the requirements obtained during the Analysis phase.
  4. Physical Design
Specific solutions are selected to fulfill the requirements of the Logical design.
  5. Implementation
Components are deployed, tested and documented. This includes lab testing, pilot group implementation when possible and then production deployment. The designated personnel are trained in the new system’s usage.
  6. Maintenance
Support and modify the system for the remainder of its life cycle.

MTBW Services utilizes a condensed SDLC when addressing the break/fix issues of clients. An inshop contact person is assigned to each client account. This person is tasked with being the liaison for the client and addresses all scheduling and non-technical issues. Two system engineers are assigned to each MTBW Services client, so that familiarity with the infrastructure is not the proprietary information of a sole individual. This allows MTBW Services to provide unparalleled responsiveness with not only a Senior Level IT Professional, but one that is knowledgeable of the client’s environment. Additionally a ticketing system is used to track all assignments for each client. This provides a comprehensive listing of tasks that approved personnel can access to quickly gain insight to the recent or historic work completed.

Leveraging the decades of experience, industry standard best practices, customer service is the priority mentality and information technology solutions, MTBW Services provides its clients a solution provider that’s dependable, knowledgeable and responsive.

All members of the MTBW Services IT professional staff are at either the Senior or Intermediate level of competency.
