MAYAA Baseball

The Mount Airy Youth Athletic Association (MAYAA) Baseball has offered All-Stars and Travel Teams for many years and has enjoyed a great deal of success at this level. Travel Teams are select teams that are chosen during tryouts each year. The Travel Team coaches are selected by the MAYAA Baseball Committee based on many criteria to ensure a rewarding experience. Representing MAYAA Baseball throughout the state of Maryland and at various times Pennsylvania, Virginia and other states, the Travel Teams play in competitive tournaments against challenging teams representing various leagues. The opportunity to try out and the reward of making a MAYAA Travel Team can be a springboard to selection to higher level teams in the future. The nearly year-round training opportunity allows kids to strengthen their baseball skills even during the offseason.
